ATD TYPE-L
A new generation drag system that responds smoothly to fish pulls and continues to work smoothly.
For small spinning and electric reels, it focuses on smooth initial operation and follow-up performance.
For larger spinning reels like the Saltiga, it’s set to prevent drag force reduction during fights.
Both are designed to allow anglers to focus on the fight without worrying about drag settings.


LC-ABS (Long Cast ABS)
This system maintains the design philosophy of ABS II, which reduces contact resistance, while pushing the contact point forward to achieve smoother line release.
The forward ring design helps prevent line from getting caught on the ring, increasing casting distance by about 5% and improving trouble-free performance compared to conventional ABS II.
This next-generation ABS spool truly achieves LC (Long Cast).
