SHG bearing

The high-sensitive bearing whose rotary performance is terrific is for professional use. The products were carefully selected by hand work from the crowd of other bearings.
The rotational performance is superior to HRCB, and there is no rival for its ultimate smoothness.
This is the bearing to tune up for professional-use. It is very suitable for a high sensitivity reel to challenge by delicate tackle.



HRCB bearing

The new technique that metal itself is hard to get rusty very much by special manufacturing method is adopted.
The bearing is resistance to salt water.
And the derusting performance is more than ten times compared with SHG.
It makes rotation feeling like silky smoothness that's quite unique to HEDGEHOG STUDIO.
That helps tough fishing situation that requires both rotation performance and durability in a high level.
It is the next-generation anti-rust bearings for Salt Water angler.

How to choose bearings

SHG bearing : for freshwater fishing such as Bass/Trout or fishing which attaches importance to sensitivity by using light weight lures

HRCB bearing : for overall saltwater fishing which attaches importance to anti-rust effect
(Although you can use SHG bearing on saltwater fishing, HRCB bearing is more suitable because of its durability.)

for 2 Bearing Handle Knob System
- Handle Knob Bearing (SHG-740ZZ or HRCB-740ZHi) x 1 pc

for 2 Bearing Drag System
- Spool Shaft Bearing (SHG-1170 or HRCB-1170Hi) x 1 pc
- Spool Inside Bearing (SHG-1060 or HRCB-1060Hi) x 1 pc

- Hexagonal wrench for spool shaft x 1 pc

*With this kit, you can add 3 bearings and perform a MAX12BB full bearing tuning.


Instructions

- for Bearing Drag System (Spool Inside Bearing)



When you remove the drag washers from inside the spool of the 24 LUVIAS, you’ll find a collar at the far end.
Replacing this collar with a bearing is known as the Finesse Spool Drag Bearing Tune.

By adding a bearing to this part, you can make the drag rotation smoother, reduce drag sticking, and support smooth line release during fights.


- for Bearing Drag System (Spool Shaft Bearing)



You can improve the drag performance of the 24 LUVIAS by replacing the plastic ring on the spool shaft with a bearing.

When this part that supports the spool is converted to a bearing, the drag will start more smoothly.


- for 2 Bearing Handle Knob System



Replace the one collar inside the handle knob of the 24 LUVIAS with a bearing.

By adding a bearing to the handle knob, you can further enhance the winding feel and sensitivity.
