This is a dress-up part that can be installed on Avail brake plates and palming plates.

Installation on Avail Brake Plates



The brake plate has two screw mounting points.
Remove these two screws using a Phillips screwdriver.
*The screws may be tight and difficult to remove.
In such cases, please contact Avail without forcing the screws.



Screwdriver to Use: Phillips screwdriver #1

Be careful to avoid injury when removing the screws as they are tightly fastened.
*There is a possibility of damaging the screws or other parts during replacement.
Please use tools that match the screws.
*If the screws get damaged, use the spare screws included with the product.



There are two types of screws used to secure the part, and they differ in length.
When assembling, please be careful to correctly match screw (1) with its corresponding mounting point (1), and screw (2) with its corresponding mounting point (2).



Install the replacement brake plate ring by aligning the screw holes on the brake plate ring with those on the brake plate.



While holding the brake plate ring with your fingers, tighten the two screws evenly.
*There are two types of screws used to secure the part.
Please be careful not to mix them up.



With this, the installation of the “ring” on the brake plate is complete.
At this time, don’t forget to install the “bearing” inside the ring on the brake plate side.


Installation on Avail Palming Plates



The palming plate has two screw mounting points.



Remove these two screws using a flathead screwdriver.



Screwdriver to Use: Flathead screwdriver #2

*There is a possibility of damaging the screws or other parts during replacement.
Please use tools that match the screws.



The screws used in the palming plate are of the same specification.



While holding the brake plate ring with your fingers, align the mounting holes and attach the screws.



While holding the brake plate ring with your fingers, tighten the two screws evenly.



With this, the installation of the “ring” on the palming plate is complete.
If necessary, install the “bearing” inside the ring on the palming plate side.
