[VARIVAS] Ajing Master Shock Leader [Fluorocarbon]

Ajing shock leader dedicated to realizing the full potential of ester lines.

A shock leader designed for Ajing. Absorbs shocks without decreasing the high sensitivity of the ester material lines.
Through the use of a unique material blend, this leader has both knot strength and abrasion resistance, which were considered issues in such thin leaders in the past.

Ajing-Specific Shock Leader Designed for Use with Ester Line

Ester line is considered essential in the current ajing scene.
However, when using ester line directly connected to a jig head, its sensitivity (lack of stretch) can cause line breaks or the fish's mouth to tear during sudden hooksets or fights.
Therefore, connecting a shock leader to the ester line is necessary.
The “Ajing Master Shock Leader” is designed specifically for use with ester line.
Made of fluorocarbon material, it prevents lightweight jig heads from floating up while absorbing shocks when needed.
It is a dedicated leader with excellent compatibility with ester lines.

Points to Consider When Choosing the Size of the Shock Leader

As a guideline, it is recommended to use a leader that is twice the size of the ester line.
If the ester line is #0.3, then use a #0.6 Ajing Master Shock Leader.
Thinner shock leaders stretch more, compensating for the weaknesses of ester lines.
For points where snagging is a concern or when fighting larger fish, a thicker leader should be used.
For first-time users, a length of about 60 cm for the shock leader is recommended.
The shorter the shock leader, the higher the sensitivity of the tackle.
As you become more accustomed to handling ester lines, you can gradually shorten the leader.

Surgeon’s Knot Recommended for Tying with the Main Line

Especially with ester lines, it is essential to use a leader.
To efficiently continue catching ajing, a simple and reliable knot is also necessary.
The recommended knot is the “Surgeon’s Knot,” which is easy and quick to tie even during windy night games.
If the leader gets twisted or worn, quickly retying with this simple knot is effective.
