Technology

SV-Concept

“SV = Stress free Versatile” maximizes the practical benefits of magnetic brakes.
SV spools are less prone to backlash, making casting easy and resulting in better fishing.
With minimal mag dial adjustment, you can handle everything from lightweight rigs around 4-5g to heavy lures without stress.
No need to spend time changing spools or opening side plates for setting adjustments.
SV covers the widest range of lures among existing baitcasting reels, suitable for any style or field from shore to boat.

SV-BOOST

TIt instantly provides optimal braking force in two stages according to the spool rotation speed, leading to that extra distance at the end of the cast.
This system maintains comfortable performance while also excelling in long-distance casting.

Cautions

If it becomes necessary to adjust the spool for “zero play” after replacing it, please follow the steps below:

1. Use tweezers or a similar tool to remove the bearing ring from the side plate, and then remove the O-ring, ball bearing, and washers A, B, and C.
*Note: Attempting to remove the ball bearing without removing the O-ring first may damage the O-ring.

2. Depending on the state of the spool play, add the included adjustment washers to the area of washer A as shown in the diagram, or replace washer A with the adjustment washer.
Then, reassemble washers B and C, the ball bearing, and the O-ring, and reattach the bearing ring.

3. Attach the side plate to the reel body and check the spool play.
The adjustment is complete if there is a slight play (approximately 0.2mm).
*Note: Do not use the spool without play, as it will not perform optimally.
