This set of magnets is required for using the Microcast Spool (shallow groove) designed for SHIMANO BFS reels.
The Avail Microcast Spools listed below have shallower grooves than the genuine spools, making the genuine magnets less effective at braking.
You can fine-tune the braking power by stacking auxiliary magnets (φ4 x 2 mm) on top of the genuine magnets.
If you find the braking power insufficient after replacing it with an Avail spool, consider purchasing this set. Below are the spools that require additional magnets.
