[ULCUS] Oil PLATINA

Product Description

An original oil jointly developed by ULCUS and Nanbu Engineering.

It contains a non-volatile base oil, a lubricant (organic molybdenum), and an anti-rust agent.
It has high lubricity and excellent load resistance, so the effect lasts longer.

It also has strong anti-corrosion properties, making it perfect for saltwater fishing.

Oil PLATINA 1 (low viscosity) is especially recommended for bait finesse and light games.
t is the same oil used in the ULCUS twin ball bearings.

Oil PLATINA 3 (medium viscosity) suits any fishing style or scene.
If you are still deciding which reel oil to use, we recommend Oil PLATINA 3 (medium viscosity).

You can expand the reel tuning range even further by using Oil PLATINA 1 (low viscosity) and Oil PLATINA 3 (medium viscosity) separately.

Oil PLATINA 1 (low viscosity)

Effect

Oil PLATINA 1 (low viscosity)

- If you use it on a bait reel, you can expect improved rotation performance, increased casting distance, and better pitching operability.
(Use on bearings such as spool and side plate)

- If you use it on a spinning reel, the rotation will be lighter, and the noise will be reduced, so you can expect to feel the bite and the tide change more easily.
(Use on handle knob, line roller, and drive gear on both ends of the bearing)


Oil PLATINA 3 (medium viscosity)

- If you use it on a bait reel, you can expect improved winding feel, increased casting distance, etc.
(Use on bearings such as spool and side plate)

- If you use it on a spinning reel, the winding feel will be improved, and the underwater changes will be easier to understand.
(Use on handle knob, line roller, and drive gear on both ends of the bearing)


Precautions

Please be careful not to apply too much oil to the main shaft of the spinning reel, as it may cause the one-way clutch to slip and the handle to reverse.
