As a result, it can be adjusted to 14 different lengths, greatly expanding the ways to enjoy source fishing games.
With its Transcendence-like qualities and multi-piece design, anglers can fully experience the true pleasure of telescopic rods.
[Caution] While it is possible to connect and extend #4-1 and #4-2, please do not use them connected as it can cause an unstable rod balance and there is a risk of damaging the lure during casting.
For example, please do not connect them in a sequence such as #1+#2+#3+#4-1+#4-2+#G+#GES.

In Your Favorite Style, At Your Favorite Length
Fishing equipment is a toy.
It is no exaggeration to say that Dwarve-XX was developed to maximize the enjoyment of this activity.
Among the many types of stream rods and multi-piece rods, Dwarve was born after careful consideration of what type of rod Transcendence should release.
I believe that Japanese streams boast a beauty that can be envied by the world.
Each stream has its own unique appearance, with varying river width, water volume, and backspace.
The sizes of fish in these streams also vary greatly.
Dwarve-XX was created to allow people to enjoy fishing in a way that matches the fish and environment they are in.
It can quickly and easily switch between spinning and bait styles, depending on the situation.
Dwarve-XX was developed with a focus on the upper and headwaters of streams.
In the headwater game, where the range of movement is limited, short rods have a significant advantage.
Dwarve-XX can be adjusted from 3.2ft to 5.7ft, allowing you to enjoy fishing in your preferred style that matches the target fish and area.
Dwarve-XX/FISHING STYLE
Dwarve-XX embodies everything TRANSCENDENCE desires for stream fishing.
The blank's bend curve enables the versatility of spinning and bait styles.
It provides an input for action to lures and is set up to achieve a high level of balance across various elements.
The tip section employs a hybrid tip made of solid carbon and tubular material.
With this rod, you can cast lightweight lures up to around 5g with ease in spinning style, and precisely shoot pinpoint targets with bait style.
You can build your fishing game by adjusting the setup to match the stream's conditions.
Rod Balance that can be Moved at Will/Lure
The mountain stream fishing game has a more pronounced flow compared to other lure games.
It is often cast upstream and entices fish to bite as it is brought downstream.
In such a scenario, transitioning from the lure's landing to the next action with a sense of speed can increase the hit rate of cautious mountain fish.
While fish that can be caught just by retrieving the lure pose no problem, for fish that require proper action or lures that need to be moved, a soft rod can cause delays and miss opportunities.
This is where Dwarve-XX's blank setting comes in, as it is designed not to miss the power input and to maintain the lure's movement without disruption.
It is the final configuration developed through the combination of several sections.
The tip section and the following #2 section will effectively control the movement of the lure.
Additionally, it has the flexibility to absorb the fish's thrashing during hooking and reeling in.
Furthermore, a stiffer tip section for spinning rods is planned to be released next year.
Cosmetics & Rod Parts
Dwarve-XX's design features a unique wooden reel seat and is designed to be user-friendly for both spinning and baitcasting reels.
For baitcasting reels, it has a triggerless reel seat, but if it is a bait finesse reel size, the recess in the grip section can serve as a trigger, allowing you to enjoy baitcasting games without any discomfort.
Moreover, the grip end is screw-type, and it serves as a balancing weight when the length is changed.
Rod-XX Continues to Evolve
The "-XX" in Dwarve-XX signifies that it will continue to evolve even after its release.
Although it is currently set up in 14 different lengths, there are still many more settings that we would like to propose.
In the future, we plan to develop additional options, such as settings for other light games that can only be achieved with multi-piece rods and an EVA grip model.
Guide Setting
The guide setting of Dwarve-XX was determined through trial and error.
The shared use of both baitcasting and spinning reels is not only influenced by the reel seat, but also by the guides that receive the first contact from the line after it leaves the reel.
We selected the distance, height, ring size, and material of the guides while taking into account factors such as the angle and height of line release from baitcasting reels and the width and angle of line release from spinning reels.
As a result, we were able to create a guide setting that can be used with both baitcasting and spinning reels, and provides excellent casting distance and accuracy.

What kind of pattern does the Iwana have beyond the waterfall?
What color is the Iwana beyond the ridge?
Catching the first fish in a valley you've never been to is always an exciting experience.
Uses outside of Mountain Streams/Other Use
The name "Dwarve" in "Dwarve-XX" is taken from the dwarves in Western mythology.
Despite their small size, they possess strength and skill, and with an understanding of the balance of the rod, you can enjoy catching various fish.
That's what the Dwarve-XX rod is all about.
It can catch over 100 different species of fish.
Tester Impressions
A rod designed to make traveling through the world of char (iwana) enjoyable and comfortable.
In search of the trout called "Iwana," whose appearance varies slightly from valley to valley, anglers travel across the mountains of Japan and face a new stream each time they arrive.
The situations in which Iwana fishing takes place are incredibly diverse, ranging from small streams that flow repeatedly to deep pools in mountain streams.
Climbing the mountains with the help of maps and GPS, it would be so comfortable if one could freely reconfigure their rod according to the stream of the valley they have reached.
This is something that those who enjoy fishing at the source of a stream can easily imagine.
The development of the Dwarve-XX, a rod designed to enjoy the world of Iwana fishing comfortably and happily, was also a challenge as a transcendence.
Finding a guide that could be comfortably used for both spinning and bait casting was a key objective.
They wanted to create a rod with tension that could be used not only in mountain streams but also in other situations, as well as one that could easily throw light lures with bait casting.
The team also worked on developing a grip that could be easily held for both spinning and bait casting, among other things.
Despite facing various challenges and hurdles that could be seen as selfish desires, the team continued to climb the mountains, carefully redesigning their prototypes without giving up.
They also struggled with the conflict of whether to create a dual-purpose rod or separate models for spinning and bait casting, but after four long years of hard work, they were finally able to complete the rod they wanted, thanks to the various valleys and Iwana that inspired them.
The Dwarve-XX, originally developed as a mountain stream rod, is not limited to mountain fishing.
The rod can also be used for ultra-light games on dams such as trout ponds, ajing, and mebaring, as well as small-scale fishing for rare and exotic fish around the world. Its sharp, taut blanks and supple solid tips are suitable not only for lure fishing but also for bait fishing.
The Dwarve-XX has undergone testing on over 100 species of fish, including those other than mountain stream fish.
Thus, the rod is well-suited for small-scale fishing. If you happen to come across the Dwarve-XX in a store, please pick it up and experience the joy and agility of reconfiguring the rod yourself while imagining your encounter with the fish you seek. You will surely be thrilled.

"Dwarve-XX" Rod
One of my top three favorite types of fishing is stream fishing.
In a field where nobody is around and not a single piece of garbage can be found, I am visually soothed by the grandeur of nature, and I listen to the music of nature while enjoying the playfulness of the fish.
I wanted a rod to use in my beloved stream.
I wanted to shape my childlike whim of wanting to fish in my favorite field with my favorite tackle into reality.
I believe that stream fishing, like traveling overseas or playing rock shore games, is a type of fishing where pack rods are of the utmost importance.
There are countless pack rods available on the market for stream fishing.
Amidst all of them, what kind of rod should Transcendence release?
After six years of continuing to ask this question and coming up with ideas, the Dwarve-XX was finally born.
The most difficult thing about selecting a rod for stream fishing is length.
Desired length and stiffness differ depending on the area one frequents.
It's a fact that stream fish can be caught with a certain level of tackle.
I wanted to make a rod that would allow me to enjoy such targets to the fullest extent.
The conclusion I reached was a multi-piece rod concept that could be used for both spinning and bait casting in a versatile style, allowing for upstream fishing with spinning and increasing the game and pin spot performance with bait casting.
How enjoyable it would be to have both in one rod.
Fishing is a hobby, a pastime.
The tools used must provide maximum enjoyment.
One must get out of the car, walk along mountain paths, and aim for the water's edge with excitement.
Then, while trying to contain one's impatience, one puts together the tackle. It's meaningless to not have tools that make such time even more enjoyable.
Of course, the basic performance required for stream fishing rods must be fully equipped as a prerequisite.
I want you to try holding this Dwarve-XX, which we have finally completed with the help of our friend, Oyuki Yamanane, who we affectionately call Kimi-kun.
The memories of the time we spent making it together and sitting around a fire in an empty stream are unforgettable.
Without him, this rod wouldn't have been completed.
I hope that you can also create such memories with the Dwarve-XX.
