New "Drag Disc System D. Disc System" specially designed to improve drag performance for ultrafine lines!

Since the normal drag washer is made of felt material, it is prone to friction and load during the initial movement and is prone to line breakage.
Furthermore, the drag viscosity changes due to high frictional resistance and heat buildup, making it difficult to achieve stable drag performance.

The D. Disk System developed this time has a unique slit design, compatible with ultrafine lines that are becoming mainstream these days, minimizes line breakage, and suppresses excessive drag.
The slit design allows the reel to naturally and smoothly release the drag from the initial action to the limit of the line, and the stable and moderate drag tension improves the reel performance.

The slit design also creates a grease reservoir on the disc, allowing grease to circulate when the drag is released.
When used in combination with the TD System, drag performance is dramatically improved.
