AE Handle



AE stands for AirEgg, and the concept is a hollow Air structure and plain egg shape.
Although the design/materials have been revised with each model, the design has remained constant and has gained tremendous support from anglers.
Aluminum Cap Aluminum cap with excellent vibration transmission combined with high-hardness EVA material, and a handle stand that stands at an exquisite angle.
The combination of these components has achieved a high level of ease of grip, ease of application of force, and resistance to fatigue and slippage.


Aluminum Arm





This New arm was developed at the same time as the high-power BHL80.
The A11098 is 5 mm longer than the BHL120 to further increase reeling power, with mid- to deep-sea conditions in mind.
The A9885 is also 3 mm larger than the BHL50 and is compatible with the latest techniques.
To accommodate the longer arm, the material is extruded and forged from 6063N aluminum alloy for increased strength.
Three additional long grooves are machined on the front of the arm to add structural strength.


OL80 Oilless Plastic Bushing



One answer in pursuit of maintenance-free performance is to choose not to use ball bearings.
OL80 is the first material used in the fishing tackle industry to withstand high loads and maintain basic performance for a long period of time even when exposed to seawater, rather than ultra-fine rotational performance.
Polyacetal, a reinforced plastic, contains filling oil dispersed in the resin and is processed into bearing size after being formed into bars.
The image of oil components seeping out of the material allows for no-lubrication, no-maintenance operation.


Arm Base



The handle shaft hole is made of high-strength stainless steel and fitted to reels of various manufacturers.
The arm base on which it is mounted is a L size that can be attached to an osier jigger.
Marfix arm bases are also available separately.

Utilizing the genuine knob, the arm length has been increased for easier use.


Three Sizes Available



123mm long arm to challenge deep sea, 110mm long arm to best match for big fish and mid-depth sea, and 98mm arm to further power up mid-sized baits. 98mm arm to further power up medium-sized baits.


High Strength Rivet



The rivets installed are SHIMANO B type.
DAIWA L type knobs can also be installed with the attached parts.
