■Description

Aluminum worm shaft for ABU Ambassadeur 1500C and 2500C.
Reels with broken claws on genuine products will be restored with this.

This is recommended for the 2BB model when it is used in seawater or brackish water where rust is a concern, or when you want to use it without frequent maintenance.
By using an aluminum alloy as the material, we have achieved a high level of weight reduction, which is important for the 2500C.

■How to use

Basically, all you have to do is replace it with a genuine product.



I will explain using ABU Ambassadeur 2500CI.



Remove the side cup.



Push the two claws inward to remove the worm gear.



Remove the pilot guide cap first, and then remove the pilot guide before starting work.
One of the worm shafts in the photo has a broken claw.



Install the aluminum worm shaft.
Don't forget to install the pilot guide and pilot guide cap.



Attach the side cup and the installation work is completed.



The photo on the left is a genuine product.
Genuine products in the early days do not have a metal cup like the one on the left in the photo.
When using it for the early model without a cup, cut off the outer peripheral part of the Avail worm shaft with a nail clipper or nippers, and process it as shown on the right in the photo.
