Jigging Hook "SEIGI 青技
Assumed target
"SEIGI 青技" No. 23 should be used for yellowtail over 10 kg, Hiramasa/Kampachi of up to 10 kg class, and tuna of up to 30 kg class.
"SEIGI 青技" No. 20 should be used for yellowtail weighing 10 kg or less, yellowtail/kampachi weighing around 5 kg, and tuna in the 20 kg class.
A hook that is firmly hooked into the baulk can catch fish in excess of the above sizes.
However, depending on the rod/drag strength/ hooking position used, even fish smaller than the above sizes can be easily deformed.
Hook Features
The silver-hung specification suppresses unnecessary light and has excellent corrosion resistance.
Assist Features
Whether it's the number of bites or the hooking and fighting...
Left: "SEIGI 青技", right: wide gape model
Many wide gape models have the needle tip pointing almost parallel to the assist line.
When targeting bluefish, it is possible to pick up small bites that are inactive and clinging to the fish.
On the other hand, this good hooking ability can be a problem, causing the fish to slip around the body and mouth, and the tip of the hook, which is parallel to the assist line, does not penetrate deeply, resulting in deformation and loss of body parts during a fight with a big fish.
Although the number of bites is slightly reduced with "SEIGI 青技", the hook reaches the mouth at a high rate and the tip of the needle is facing the tip of the assist, which brings out its original hooking performance and ensures that the lure is hooked into the bartail.
Pilot hooks are wide gabe hooks to identify patterns, and "SEIGI 青技" for big one in the school!
