Loosen the knob which is under the mechanical brake knob
to open the side plate of the other side.

There is a fixing screw on a small brown plate.
Remove the screw to pull the shaft out of main unit.

Remove the E-shaped retainer on the shaft with a flat-blade screwdriver.
(Please make sure not to lose the retainer.

Take the all small parts off the shaft.
(aluminum pipe with a rubber ring, small brown plate, spring)

Take the shaft off the plate by turning it with an adjustable wrench.

CALCUTTA CONQUEST
Then tighten the shaft on a PPLATE-CNQ50 with an adjustable wrench.

CALCUTTA CONQUEST
Put those parts (aluminum pipe with a rubber ring, small brown plate, spring) back through the shaft as they were by holding them with your fingers.

CALCUTTA CONQUEST
Fix the E-shaped retainer to the groove of the shaft
while pushing down the aluminum pipe with your fingers.
(Please make sure not to lose the retainer.)

Place the shaft back into the main unit, and fix with the screw.

Place the "plate" at the right position, then tighten the knob under the Mechanical Brake knob to finish up.
