The diameter is φ34mm (same as Metanium Mg).
You can use a genuine centrifugal brake and also magnetic brake "Microcast Brake SHSC-05A".

｜How to replace genuine SVS


To remove the SVSunit off the spool

The unit is press-fitted tightly.
Pull the unit by holding the 3 part protruding from the unit, little by little with patience.
(Please take great care not to damage SVS and scratch spool.)

| How to use 4-points centrifugal brake
(Although you need to purchase the brake separately, the replacement is very easy.)



Just attach the centrifugal brake purchased to the spool with no difficulty.
You can use the genuine Shimano brake blocks.

This choice will be nice if you are concerned about pulling up SVS from a genuine spool.
And it will be also convenient if you do not want to remove SVS unit because you want to use the genuine spool as a spare.

｜How to use the magnetic brake



Attach the brake on the receiver as pictured above.
Turn the screw to adjust the brake.
When the distance between the magnetic pole face and the bottom-face of spool inside gets closer, the brake becomes stronger.
