DRD (DRD14000 - 25000)
DRD is a completely new drag mechanism that withstands repeated runs of large fish over long periods and prevents wear damage and seizure in high drag areas.
Instead of the carbon washers used in conventional drags, the DRD washer features 8 metal rollers mounted on a single metal plate.
It suppresses the decrease in drag force due to frictional heat and marks more than 5 times the durability of carbon washers (*According to DAIWA comparison test).
It also contributes to the smoothness of the initial movement.
*Standard equipment on DRD14000, 18000-25000.
When using the DRD14000 spool, it is necessary to replace it with the SALTIGA DRD Radiation Knob (sold separately).


ATD TOUGH (8000 - 14000)
ATD operates smoothly in response to the fish's pull and continues to work smoothly.
ATD Tough adopts carbon washers to achieve high durability.
By pursuing smooth initial movement and followability, it is now possible to focus on the fight without worrying about drag settings.


LC-ABS SW
While LC-ABS achieves smooth line release by optimizing the spool ring shape, LC-ABS SW adopts a two-stage taper shape on the upper side of the spool winding part towards the spool ring.
This reduces friction resistance with the line released from deep diameters, realizing a good casting feel and further improving release performance in the latter half of the cast.
Especially when using thick lines where the winding diameter changes significantly due to casting, it contributes to about a 2% increase in casting distance.
It supports the angler's desire to cast far.

| Precautions

If you wind the line with excessive line tension, the spool may deform.
Please be careful not to apply too much line tension.
When winding PE line, we recommend winding with a line tension of about 1.5kg.
When winding nylon line (including backing), we recommend winding with a line tension of about 300g to avoid applying too much line tension.
