AIR Bearings are ultra-high-speed bait finesse bearings ideal for lures ranging from 1g to approximately 28g.

Thanks to the adoption of small-diameter Japanese-made ceramic balls and a high-strength integrated housing, these bearings are not only perfect for bait finesse but also provide the rotational responsiveness to cast ultra-lightweight lures. At the same time, they allow you to cast 1oz-class lures with the same feel as regular bearings.

The AIR BFS-Si bearings allow you to easily replace the main micro bearing by removing the built-in stopper ring from the outer housing. Its structure offers excellent maintainability, making it a highly cost-effective bearing.
Replacement micro ceramic bearings and stopper rings are also available for purchase separately.

How to Replace Bearings on SHIMANO Baitcasting Reels



For standard SHIMANO baitcasting reels, bearings are replaced in two locations: the mechanical brake knob side and the side cover plate side.

Spool Shaft Bearings *C

For reels marked with *C, in addition to the side cover plate side and mechanical brake knob side, there is also a bearing located on the spool shaft.

The spool shaft bearing size is 1150ZZ (Inner Diameter: 5mm × Outer Diameter: 11mm × Thickness: 4mm).
If necessary, please purchase your preferred type of bearing separately.
