[BORED] METHOD / BALBOA VG9 Ultra-Low Viscosity High-Lubrication High-Penetration Oil

BALBOA is an ultra-low viscosity, high-lubrication, high-penetration oil concept from the BORED METHOD DIVISION lineup.
Recommended for miniature bearings and metal components in fishing reels, skateboards, and cycling parts, BALBOA supports blending with other BORED METHOD oils, except for BSLR and HYDRA oils.
Like other BORED METHOD products, it uses premium 100% synthetic base oils, free from harmful chlorine-based materials and heavy metals.
The formulation avoids solid additives like Teflon and molybdenum, adhering to the founding policy of BORED METHOD.


Recommended Fishing Applications

- Spool bearings of baitcasting reels (size 50–200) for freshwater use.
- Handle knob bearings of baitcasting reels (size 50–200) for freshwater use.
- Line rollers of spinning reels (size 500–C3000) for freshwater use.
- Spool bearings of spinning reels (size 500–C3000) for freshwater use.
- Bearings in drum reels and fly reels for freshwater use.


Specifications

Type: Ultra-low viscosity, high-response oil.
Composition: Ester synthetic oil, synthetic hydrocarbon oil, special extreme pressure additives, water-resistant anti-rust additives, viscoelastic additives, and more.
Volume: 15 ml or more.
Container: PET dropper-equipped security container.


Notes

* Read the “Usage Precautions” included in the product images before use.
* Lubrication and water resistance testing has been conducted under harsher saltwater conditions compared to freshwater environments.
* The oil may appear slightly cloudy due to oleic acid salts in the anti-rust additives, but this does not affect performance.
* Shake the container lightly before use if oleic acid salts in the anti-rust additives have settled.
* Recommended shelf life is approximately one year after opening, subject to storage and usage conditions.
* The oil contains no chlorine-based or heavy metal additives and is not diluted with solvents.
* Although no functional issues have been observed, compatibility with certain rubbers and plastics should be confirmed before use.
* The color of the oil may vary slightly between production batches due to the characteristics of the base oil, but this does not affect performance.
* The security cap, which detaches automatically upon first opening, is not required for subsequent use and can be discarded.

- This product is a lubricant designed exclusively for metal components.

- Do not use near open flames, high temperatures, or high humidity.
