[BORED] METHOD / LIGHT DUTY VG48 Low-Viscosity High-Lubrication High-Durability Oil

LIGHT DUTY is a low-viscosity, high-lubrication, high-durability oil concept from the BORED METHOD DIVISION lineup.
Alongside THICK HEAVY oil, it has been a long-selling product within the METHOD oil series. It features excellent total balance between lubrication and durability, providing a silky feel and superior responsiveness.
This oil is widely compatible with fishing reels and cycling parts, emphasizing the "lubrication" of the oil film.

LIGHT DUTY maintains a low viscosity to achieve a well-balanced blend of chemical and physical adhesion effects, delivering a silky yet responsive feel.
It is frequently used as the core product in custom blends. In fishing reels, it enhances rotation and lubrication beyond factory standards.
For cycling parts, it promotes lubrication by reducing friction between metal components, simultaneously achieving durability and responsiveness.
The use of ester synthetic oil as the base provides strong chemical adhesion and oil film properties on metals. Combined with viscoelastic additives, it delivers superior lubrication, surpassing both mineral and synthetic oils.

LIGHT DUTY also supports user-customized blending with other METHOD oils to create original viscosities and characteristics.
Like all METHOD products, it is made with premium 100% synthetic base oils, free from harmful chlorine-based or heavy metal materials, and does not contain solid additives such as Teflon or molybdenum, adhering to the founding policy of BORED METHOD DIVISION.

- Chains for road use.

Notes

* Read the “Usage Precautions” included in the product images before use.
* Although validated for intended applications, compatibility with materials may vary. Test on rubber or plastic components beforehand.
* Due to the water-resistant and anti-rust additives, the oil may temporarily emulsify upon contact with water. This will naturally improve upon drying.
* Thoroughly degrease and clean existing oils or greases before use. Avoid mixing with products from other brands.
* When blending with other METHOD oils, warm the oils to approximately 60°C using a water bath for optimal mixing.
* Not compatible with discontinued BSLR or HYDRA oils for blending.
* Recommended shelf life is approximately one year after opening, subject to storage conditions and temperature variations.
* The security cap detaches upon opening and is no longer required for subsequent use. Dispose of it after removal.
