Item Description

THETA is an all-weather, low-viscosity semi-synthetic grease introduced as part of the urethane-based grease lineup by BORED METHOD DIVISION.
This grease offers a lower viscosity level compared to our ALPHA product, making it ideal for low-viscosity applications.

Building on the series policy of METHOD oil and grease products—characterized by extreme pressure resistance and robust oil film properties—THETA adds the water resistance and heat tolerance inherent to urethane-based greases, making it suitable for use in a wide range of environments.
Compared to standard lithium-based greases, urethane-based greases like THETA offer approximately five times the lubrication lifespan.
With METHOD’s proprietary base oils and high levels of additives, this grease maintains exceptional shear stability under continuous friction or sudden heavy loads.
Even in cases of emulsification caused by moisture or humidity, THETA minimizes lubrication failure, ensuring reliable performance.

The DELTA, ALPHA, and THETA greases in the METHOD urethane-based series primarily differ in viscosity.
Thanks to their higher thickener density compared to general-purpose lithium greases, these products excel in adhesion, making them resistant to gravitational or centrifugal forces.
METHOD oil and grease products surpass standard specifications, covering performance levels that are more than sufficient for both fishing and cycling applications.
This versatility allows for maintenance, tuning, and overhauls that go beyond manufacturer standards.

Users can also customize their grease properties by mixing different viscosities within the METHOD urethane-based series.
All five variants in this lineup share nearly identical durability, ensuring that low viscosity does not equate to weaker performance or high viscosity to stronger performance.
As with all METHOD products, THETA adheres to a commitment to high-quality materials.
It contains no harmful chlorine-based or heavy metal substances, nor any solid additives like Teflon or molybdenum, in line with the BORED METHOD DIVISION policy since its inception.
