The UG SIGMA grease is an all-weather, high-viscosity, high-adhesion semi-synthetic grease that has undergone an upgrade from SIGMA, a urea-based grease product lineup of BORED METHOD DIVISION.

With the highest viscosity among our grease products, UG SIGMA also boasts enhanced adhesiveness and viscoelasticity.
The consistency, denoted as No.2+ in our original labeling, represents a highly adhesive and viscous formulation.

Inheriting the extreme pressure resistance and oil film retention that are central to the METHOD oil and grease series, this product also features water and heat resistance, characteristics typical of urea-based greases.
Following a significant upgrade in September 2024, UG SIGMA now includes superior rust-prevention properties, making it suitable for use in various environmental conditions.

Urea-based grease products generally provide approximately five times the lubrication life of standard lithium greases.
Additionally, with high concentrations of METHOD’s proprietary base oils and additives, UG SIGMA maintains exceptional shear strength under continuous friction and sudden loads.
Even when emulsified by water or humidity, the grease continues to exhibit strong defense effects without severe lubrication failure.

While other METHOD urea greases, such as DELTA, ALPHA, and THETA, primarily offer viscosity variations, UG SIGMA and UG OMEGA emphasize significantly improved adhesiveness and viscoelasticity.
These enhancements result in strong attachment properties and optimal fluidity, enabling the grease to resist displacement due to gravity or centrifugal forces.

The extreme pressure resistance and oil film retention of METHOD oil and grease products exceed the requirements for fishing and cycling applications, ensuring outstanding performance for maintenance, tuning, and overhaul purposes.
The advanced specifications deliver performance beyond manufacturer originals.

Users can also mix UG SIGMA with other METHOD urea greases to customize viscosity and characteristics, thereby expanding its applications.
Notably, all five greases in the lineup offer nearly identical durability, defying the common notion that lower viscosity equates to weakness or higher viscosity implies strength.

As with other METHOD products, UG SIGMA employs premium-quality materials.
The formulation avoids environmentally and biologically harmful chlorine-based or heavy metal components, as well as solid additives like Teflon and molybdenum, reflecting BORED METHOD DIVISION’s founding policy.
