CRANK Edge 115
A New Standard Size & Newly Designed Plate
The CRANK Edge 115 handle was created in response to requests for a handle with a 115mm pitch, between the 110mm and 120mm handles in the CRANK series lineup.
Rather than resizing the existing CRANK series plate, the design was newly developed with a completely new concept, different from both CRANK and CRANK Feather.
Paired with the newly developed DELTA knob, the handle is crafted with the utmost attention to detail.
The CRANK Edge 115 compensates for the slight lack of power felt with the 110mm and the loss of sensitivity with the 120mm, making it the new standard size for mid to deep-range Tai Rubber and heavy-weight Squid Metal fishing.
The Industry's First Triangular Thin-walled Titanium Knob DELTA
(Design registered, Design number 1763761)
The DELTA knob, designed specifically for a grip style that involves holding with three fingers—hooking the index finger, supporting with the thumb, and pinching with the middle finger—introduces the industry's first triangular, thin-walled, hollow titanium knob.
The outer diameter where the index finger hooks and the thumb supports is about φ27, tapering inward to a gentle triangular shape.
The middle finger, placed on the slender part near the notch, gathers a wealth of underwater information.
During hooking, the angular triangular surfaces provide excellent hold, preventing the fingers from slipping.
By approaching product development from the user's perspective, exploring fundamental challenges and needs from an external viewpoint, and refining the product through prototypes, we pursued the ideal shape.
This unprecedented feeling, which updates the concept of knobs, offers a surprising new level of fit and comfort unlike anything experienced before.
