BEYOND THE TWO-PIECE ROD
Ghibli80S has been designed to maximize the potential of offshore multi-piece rods and is comparable to regular offshore 2-piece models.
This 4-piece offshore casting rod was developed to cover lightweight lures that are difficult to cover with the Laulau83GTS and to focus the blanks on domestic yellowtail tuna and yellowfin tuna game.
The rod has been made to have a storage dimension that allows it to be moved by storing it at an angle in a suitcase, and by making it a 4-piece rod, we have succeeded in reducing its weight significantly.
The balance of the blanks was also achieved through the continuous production of test samples.
The blanks have the highest level of strength in Transcendence's history yet have a smooth bend curve, allowing the rod to bend firmly while withstanding the load of the fish.
Ghibli80S is a rod that all anglers should try.
Fishing Style
The tip section is made of a highly elastic carbon sheet to facilitate casting from 30-50g lures, and by placing a firm weight on it, it is possible to cast lightweight plugs and diving pencils weighing more than 100g up to 120g with ease.
The sharp blanks also provide high castability, enabling anglers to cast to pinpoint fish that have been boated.
The butt section is constructed with a butt section capable of catching even unexpectedly large fish.
Ghibli80S bends the entire rod firmly to catch the power of fish.
Although the rod states a max drag of 10kg, there is no problem with a max drag of 14kg, a practical drag that can be smoothly dragged with a 14000 class reel.
There is still plenty of room for breaking strength at 60°.
Ghibli80S has been designed to meet the specifications that allow anglers to tackle the targets in front of them without having to choose the lure size or target size in the sunfish and yellowfin tuna game, where target size is not an option.
The blanks can be adjusted for almost all targets up to 50kg, and by thoroughly selecting carbon sheets and resins, we have created the Japan Special Ghibli80S, ideal for offshore casting games in Japan.
Guide Setting
The RV guide is used for the butt guide, and by securing an exquisite guide separation distance, it is compatible with reels ranging from 14000 class reels to 20,000 class reels.
The line can be released smoothly.
Tester Impressions
One rod that we want all offshore anglers to touch.
We wanted a casting rod not designed for overseas expeditions but for domestic trips, especially for yellowtail tuna and yellowfin tuna.
Offshore casting in Japan is more sensitive and selective, using all kinds of lures.
There are spring, summer, fall, and winter patterns depending on the target.
The lure weights vary, and the line sizes range from #4 to #10.
Although the guides are listed as #4-#6, the #8 PE line can be used with no problem.
Ghibli can be used in all kinds of situations.
The Ghibli is a lure that can be used in all kinds of situations, and its ability to catch a lure firmly and send it flying far away is worthy of the Ghibli name.
Ghibli is the name of the wind that blows in the Mediterranean Sea, and it is also the name of an Italian fighter plane.
The Ghibli is powerful, nimble, and versatile, and its specifications are superior to its namesake.
The versatility that surpasses one-and-a-half casting rods results from a rod balance made possible only by a multi-piece rod.
Lightweight blanks that do not tire even after casting all day long, making it very easy to handle fish after they hit the water.
The bent curve of the blanks is smooth, making it fun to cast at fish.
The Ghibli80S is the perfect rod for all fields in Japan.

Possibilities of a Spinning Pack Rod
Ghibli80S is a multi-piece rod that is easy to carry on an expedition, yet it is a lightweight and robust offshore casting rod that can easily handle small to medium-sized plugs.
In recent years, there have been many difficult conditions in the areas where anglers go on fishing expeditions, and it is necessary to cast a variety of plugs.
Naturally, it is impossible to cover everything with a single rod, so we believe that we can attract more bites by using Ghibli80S and Laulau83GTS Rev2.0 differently.
The Ghibli80S is very lightweight, making it an excellent choice for anglers who are not confident in their physical strength and female anglers.
Our tests showed that the Ghibli80S is a comfortable plug weight of 30g to 100g.
It is surprisingly helpful for tuna that stick to small bait and sunfish in the spring.
One of the most memorable bites in the test was a 19.5 kg sunfish that jumped out and bit on a small 45 g plug in the Tango area of the Sea of Japan in the spring.
It was a hit in shallow water, but I could catch it without upsetting the fish, probably because of the blank that bent and recovered well.
It was a catch in my hometown, and it was more memorable than the size of the fish.
When you go on an expedition by air or rail with a multi-piece rod, you need a multi-piece rod to maximize the convenience of the trip.
The Ghibri80S, the little brother of the Laulau83GTS Rev2.0, means more options for the expedition and can be used in a broader range of situations.
A new wind has been blowing in the offshore fishing expedition style, and I look forward to future expeditions.
