Multi Cut Ring (A7075T6 material)

The evolution of guide shapes and PE lines has greatly reduced the backlash and air knots that initially occurred, and the performance required of spools has changed from trouble-free to flying distance.

STUDIO Ocean Mark has been developing elliptical rings for trouble-free use since 2007.
The spool ring has an oval shape, which is generally a perfect circle, to continuously change the ring contact resistance of the released line and create a slight feathering condition, effectively preventing line trouble.
The new multi-cut rings have developed the concept of oval rings to both prevent traggling and increase flying distance.

When casting, the line is released after vigorously adhering along the spool ring.
The multi-cut surface on the lower part of the spool continuously lengthens and shortens the distance of adhesion when the line is released, creating a feathering condition similar to an oval ring due to the resistance caused by the difference in length and shortening, thereby preventing line trouble.

As the lure's casting speed decreases, the line speed released from the spool surface also decreases, and the release loop becomes larger and the line only makes slight contact with the top of the spool.
The slant angle of the spool ring is close to that of surf reels, which demand ultra-long casting performance, so the minimum discharge resistance provides extended casting distance in the latter half of the cast.






Newly Shaped Radiator Unit

A machine-cut radiator unit is attached to the lower part of the drag system, and the high-speed rotating spool simultaneously enhances the radiator unit's heat dissipation performance.
In laboratory tests under very severe conditions, temperature rise is reduced by more than 30% and stable drag force is maintained.






30000 size

STUDIO Ocean Mark has developed a special spool that is compatible with the STELLA SW 30000, which boasts one of the world's largest line capacities.
To compensate for the weak point of large-diameter spools, which is the reduction of drag force, a drag system is also provided on the spool shaft to support drag power.
Together with the skirtless drag system, the maximum drag force of 22 kg is secured by hand-tightening.
It is also equipped with the latest multi-cut ring/newly shaped radiator unit in the series to support spectacular fights with spinning marlin and giant tuna.




8000 size

19 STELLA SW/8000 is now available as a dedicated model with a common body and compact rotating frame size.
The 8000, which has a light rotational stop-and-go action, has been highly evaluated in the market, and they have received many requests for spool development.

19SW9800HP (HP=High Power Specification)
The spool ring is set to the maximum diameter and the line capacity is set to PE6-250/5-300m.
This is the same line capacity of the SHIMANO 10000 size, and it is also possible to reel in No. 6 to target GT and sunfish.
No. 5 is the best size for yellowfin tuna game in coastal waters and for throwing masa in the Kanto region.

The spool ring diameter has been reduced to the smallest possible diameter, while the diameter of the No. 4 300 m spool is the same as the genuine spool ring.
Since the diameter of the spool is the same, the amount of spool per revolution of the handle remains the same, and the rhythm of fishing can be used without any discrepancy from genuine.
The advantage of the small-diameter spool ring is that when underhand casting with a jigging rod with a small-diameter guide, the line does not strike the former guide and is released smoothly, reducing casting problems.


Waterproof Performance

Waterproof rubber is attached to the topmost drag washer.
Carbon washers effectively block seawater intrusion, which is their greatest weakness.


Drag Washer

Uses a special carbon material for drag washers made in the USA.
A fine plain weave is selected from many yarn counts to provide smooth initial movement and maximum friction resistance.


Pure Teflon Grease

Pure Teflon grease with Teflon oil and Teflon powder additives.
The highest level of drag grease in the history of fishing tackle is used, and there is no drag seizure due to grease loss even in a fight with the largest fish.

- 88mm Arm / BM95 Knob
Tester Hiromu Sano derived the "BM95" handle knob shape for long fights with very large fish.
The extra-large bar-shaped knob is easy to grip for reeling and jerking the lure as well as for pushing and pulling.
Also, no matter how well-trained your body is, full-throttle fighting will reach the limits of your arm and grip strength in a few dozen minutes.
Reeling with different handles effectively distributes the muscle force used and strongly supports fighting for long periods of time.

The AG45 knob shape was created based on the concept that a ball is a ball no matter where you grip it from.
The easy grip of the sphere provides solid support for fighting with big fish and for violent jerks.

The 88mm arm, the strongest setting in its class, provides the same winding power as one-size larger models.
The BM70, which strongly supports the pushing and pulling motions of handle rotation, offers the highest level of ease of plug handling in the casting game and power winch during fighting.

The size balance of the arm and knob is the same golden ratio as the first model!

64 Titanium Parts

Handle rivet and handle shaft made of 64 titanium, a very difficult material, manufactured in Ota-ku, a manufacturing town.
The same strength design as the upper size lure prevents bending or breaking even when fighting with very large fish.


How to use the BM Knob

This custom handle has a knob shape that is specially designed for tuna to fight for long periods of time.
The unique design allows the user to turn the handle with a forward, reverse, or side grip during long fights.
The idea is to reduce fatigue by using the muscles of the entire arm.
