Although you can use SHG bearing on saltwater fishing, HRCB bearing is more suitable because of its durability.

Custom example
This tuning requires disassembly of the reel.
Please note that this is only for advanced users who are used to overhauling their reels.

The white plastic collar in the worm shaft can be replaced with a bearing to make the drive lighter.

To do this you will need to dismantle the machine to the condition shown in the picture above.

The worm shaft is fitted with a thin washer at each end.
Please be careful not to lose them during disassembly.
When fitting the worm shaft gears to the worm shaft, the convex side must face the worm shaft.
