How to replace the bearing of SHIMANO 16 Metanium MGL
16 Metanium MGL is different from the 13 Metanium, replace the there since it has a bearing is attached to the spool.

Bearing exchange method of the spool shaft portion
In order to replace the spool bearings, you must remove the shaft pin and E-ring.
First of all, we will remove the spool shaft pin. Shaft pin is different from the thickness of the left and right, but it does not matter is pulled out from either.
The spool shaft pin will disconnect with the spool bearing remover.

Then we will remove the E-ring.
First, create a simple wall by using a wide tape width as E ring is not Ika fly (such as transparent packing tape) while working.
Use two toothpicks to work from here. Hook the tip of the toothpick at both ends of the E-ring and remove the E-ring is pushed to two simultaneous.
※ because that would hurt if you using a metal tool such as pliers the spool shaft and the spool body you use, please refrain.
The above-mentioned parts will be taken out by removing the E-ring. Please note especially the loss of the washer in the spring both ends. Here replace the bearings.
In it will return to the original. Washer ⇒ Attach to spring ⇒ spool shaft in the order of the washer ⇒ bearing. Then, in the groove on the position of the photograph of the arrow Install the E-ring.
After initially pushed lightly E ring with your fingers and further push the E ring on the opposite side of the part with the tip of the toothpick.
Both ends of the E ring is okay if me to the position of the photograph.
